You wear it like a button down shirt, only difference it is on zipper instead of buttons. Underneath the zipper is 3 pairs of hook and eye distributed from the top, middle and bottom so there is no worries of the zipper unzipping. My favorite part is, it holds my tummy flat and it does not push the fats up to my "wings" below my shoulders. I love it so much.
