bettergoods Gluten Free Gingerbread Muffin Mix Carton, 15.6 oz

I tweak this box mix to make a loaf. I use browned butter, instead of the oil it calls for. I use applesauce instead of the water. I also add orange zest and a good amount of ginger and/or pumpkin pie spice. I also add 1 egg yolk to the 2 eggs it calls for. Don't forget a dash of almond extract. Dense, rich and delish! You can also make cookies from this EASILY! Just use the mix, 2 eggs and 1/2 cup of browned butter OR Almond oil. Again, I add more spice, orange, nuts, almond extract... I live at a higher altitude, so I also add a splash of water OR bourbon ;) Place balls/scoops onto parchment lined pan, bake at 350 for about 6 to 10 minutes, depending on how soft you like your cookies. Cool cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring.

I wanted to buy something healthier for my family and myself and this did not disappoint. It's got a very strong type of spices flavoring but it's so delicious, sweet and comforting especially around the Holidays. Very amazing and nostalgic! Did not disappoint.
