By far the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have many cordless tools, being a farmer you need them. But for years I was hauling around a generator Sono can use my grinder when repairing my properties fence line (approximately 4kms). Being a farmer I would have to save for a while in order to get the tool I need. I saw this grinder on sale and I hummed and I Hawed about it, same thing I had always done when wanting g to buy a grinder. I finally bought one and it makes life much easier for me. I only have 2 1.5mah batteries that I used on my drills and they die fast. It will be a while yet before I can afford a bigger battery because they are expensive. Long story a bit longer, this was a great purchase, I'm sad that I waited so long.
Powerful grinder!
What can I say, this is by far the most powerful battery grinder I have ever used (and I've used a lot). I use grinders everyday for cutting and beveling pipe to prep for welding, so it's safe to say they get beaten up and eventually burnt out. I've been using this grinder heavily for almost a year now and no signs of slowing down. Well see in time how good it will hold up, as of right now I'm beyond happy with this grinders performance. I highly recommend this tool!
Great lil grinder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a tough lil grinder. I have had this thing a few weeks now, and i have given it a thorough workout. In the neighborhood of 30 hours of use. That my friend is a lot of battery charges. I judge this tool worthy. I was initially put off with this tool because it had a paddle switch, and I prefer a trigger, however Dewalt has made substantial improvements in the comfort of this tool. Anybody that runs a grinder for a living knows comfort is the key to good craftsmanship and low end of day fatigue. This thing has a tough motor so you don't have to feather the pressure to keep it going. The six amp hour batteries are also a great addition to those of us who work for a living and not doing weekend projects out of our garage. My lone gripe for this tool is lack of a dcb118 fast charger. Overall, this is s tough lil grinder that makes my job and therefore my life easier. Thank you dewalt.
