The shelf was easy to put together, and I opted to put the casters on since it seems to be able to handle more weight with them on. I previously purchased this shelf, then purchased this one. It's laughable the sellers change original prices to ridiculous amounts from week to week, to make you think you're getting a phenomenal deal. The shelf is nice and sturdy. Super simple to put together, as a 70 year-old woman it took me about 20 minutes by myself. I don't need or use the casters. The shelf does not hold as much weight if you choose to put the casters on. I would purchase again, but only if I could get it for the sale price.
