When I received these pot holders after many weeks of waiting for them I was dismayed to find that it was just a single layer of very thin Turkish towing surrounded by facing even using four of them at a time they did not prevent heat transfer from burning your fingers when you try to use them

No wonder they were cheap

When I opened these pot holders, it was clear why they were so cheap. They are extremely thin. You have to double them over to use them to carry a hot pot. The design is just like the ones I have which I like, but they are not functional as pot holders. Also, in case it matters, the red is a lighter, more cherry red rather than the true red in the picture.

Very Thin Potholders. Too Thin for use at Potholde

These pot holders are very thin, as a matter of fact I have never seen a pot holder this thin. This is the reason for one star evaluation. I would never trust them with a pot that was actually hot! I am planning to sew the 2 pot holders together with some batting in the middle to give them more thickness.
