Allow me to say that finding the right antenna for your needs is no easy task. It depends on a variety of factors: Where you live, where you place the antenna and how far you are broadcast signals. I live in northern Ohio, along the lake, about halfway between Cleveland and Toledo. I tried 7 antennas (this included) before I found the right one. This being the right one. What I tried ranged in price from about $ 70 to $ 160 dollars. This antenna is clearly the best one I've tested. It receives about 40 channels consistently and the picture quality is great. No matter what I've tried, this model included, there are certain stations that I've just not been able to pull in. After looking at Antop's signal strength list, based on my area, it's not surprising. Although it was reasonable to believe I would receive channels I'm not getting, it's not surprising once seeing their signal strength. I am using this antenna for indoor use so I can't comment on how it might perform if it were placed outdoors. I like the fact that the cord is very long because it allows a lot of options as to where it can be placed. The cords are also very heavy duty with the exception of the power cord. This is the third Antop antenna I have purchased, the other two being bigger and more expensive than this. In all fairness, I didn't even set up one of them. That unit is much bigger and substantially more expensive than this one, but I found no reason to even open the box when I saw how well this one worked. Allow me to also say that I did a lot of research before buying any of the antennas I tried. If you want to get it right, you may have to take the patience to try several different antennas.

I highly suggest buying this it's a great product when I scan channels on my television with this I was receiving 60+ channels and I don't have cable so those are all free!!!
