Very easy to assemble, requires no extra tools. Sturdy and looks very nice. My only "complaint" (not really) is I expected the headboard to be a little bit higher. I have a 12 inch mattress from Zinus and you can't see the headboard much. Not a huge deal and still looks nice! Great bed frame for the price.
