To me it's sturdy and looks attractive. It was economically priced. Overall the bed is good, but it sits rather low. I see it best for a child and not for the guest room- unless it's a shorter person or one that can easily "get low".

Good bed for kids

The bed is perfect for little kids. The height is maybe 2 feet from the ground (including with the mattress). The size of the bed fits also fits a Twin XL but leaves gaps with a regular Twin mattress. The wood quality for the bottom slats is not that great super bouncy, I recommend a bunky board under mattress for sturdiness. Overall the color and design matches the description and pictures.

Legs are very weak

The beds are very cute and elegant but the legs are not strong at all. I have 5 and 6 year olds. I would recommend them to family and friends and tell them to use extra support for the legs.
