This beautiful set was a great buy I took a chance I am so glad that I did so. The color is vibrant not to loud it has a glam vibe to it I thought the velvet would be too thick. It was perfect not to thin not that crush velvet it lays well~ no creases ~no odd smells. I washed it in the longest cycle it came out well not as thick as a padded comforter but warm enough. The fabric is super soft and cozy
