This bed requires a box spring for use. The Clare bed is made in Malaysia and requires assembly. Cute bed

My daughter loves this bed. Just wish the headboard came down a little lower. I will eventually get a box spring to raise the mattress so there is no gap btwn the headboard and mattress. Seems sturdy. We are using a bunkie board as support for now. The velvet upholstery is nicer than I thought it would be.
