AMAZING!

These might be the perfect hiking socks. They provide just the right amount of cushion on the bottom to provide comfort, but have thinner material on the top to allow feet to cool off. I have had problems with my feet getting too warm with Smart Wool hiking socks in the past due to the cushion all the way around the foot, but that is not an issue with these. I am concerned that these socks are going to pill, but I'm willing to live with that to have the comfort level these socks provide.

Durability and Comfort

I just bought this pair of Darn Toughs to replace the pair which I finally got a tiny hole in, seven hard years later. Darn Tough has a lifetime guarantee but I couldn't do that in good conscience as those socks didn't owe me anything. I had always been a SmartWool guy but these take more of a beating and you can throw them in the dryer.

Great Fit, Tough as Nails!

Love DT socks! They're my go-to for backpacking, hiking. So naturally when I got a pair of high top winter boots I got this taller pair to gain protection higher up on my legs. Med offers a great fit (I wear a 9.5 boot) for me, and it's tough to wear the Darn things out!
