Sun Zero Jules 100% Blackout Rod Pocket 40" x 63" Single Curtain Panel in Sterling, Adult

We bought 16 40 x 84 panels and installed them yesterday in our unheated Florida room. They are of substantial weight and excellent quality. First, we used the Wrinkle release feature on our Samsung dryer to get out the wrinkles from packaging to speed it up- be mindful that no thermal curtain will ever be 100% wrinkle free- and we noted during installation that they were all the same length and were free of any defects in the stitching or in the fabric. The flannel backing is so much better than just a rubber backing. The sound attentuation is significant, and they are truly blackout, with just little peeks of light that come through where two panels meet, which is true for any blackout curtain. We bought Eclipse wrap-around double curtain rods and installed sheer curtains as well- these made installing both sets of curtains easy, but the closer to the floor the edge of the outer curtain is, to more light comes in. It does, however, dramatically reduce the amount of light in, and gives more privacy. As for color, we bought "Fire Red" because its description online said "Actual Color: Orange" which is exactly the color we wanted. It is a vibrant, rich, tomato soup orange and we just love it. We deliberately chose rod pocket rather than grommet, because once a grommet comes out during the wash, gets rusty or loose, that entire panel becomes noticeably ugly and cannot be repaired. We bought 4 panels for each 72" wide window and 2 panels for each 36" wide window and it was the perfect fullness, and did the same with the sheers. We are strongly considering buying these Sun Zero Jules panels in other colors for our other rooms that face south or west as well- we are monitoring the ever-fluctuating price per panel/color daily to hit the same incredible deal we got with these.
