Great boots for austere work in the mountains

First day out hiked the mountains on the southern border of CA for about 9-10 miles, held up great and still look good as new after getting thrashed pretty heavily. Comparatively, I got two different 5.11 styles that had the issue of the sole separating from the boot. I'm extremely happy with the durability of these Rockroosters!

Great boot but needs a pull on strap

I love these and would've actually given a 4.5 outa 5. The only thing with these boots that would put these to a 10 would be a pull on strap on the back of them. A really strong( not a small loop) strap/handle to pull this boot on or incorporate a side zipper. Otherwise these boots are wonderful and the inserts are the best. I actually just got these and have your insert in one boot and a popular boot insert in the other. And you're is way better( kudos). I work in corrections, so I've worn through about every boot that advertises comfort. So, I'll be putting these to the test.
