Stainless Steel Wok

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Disclosure: I received the Stainless Steel Wok for free from Napoleon for testing purposes. Nevertheless, this does not impact my review or my comments. Overall : I loved the Stainless Steel Wok! I have 2 kids and we like to cook quick meals for them (we currently use either another Wok, BQQ or Air Fryer for quick meals). Last night, I prepared a stir fry with the Napoleon wok: it heated quickly, it did not stick and it was easy to clean. Pros: - Heats up quickly and the handle stays cool - Easily makes a meal for 3-4 people, lots of volume to cook given the high sides and wide base - Non stick, so made cooking easy and cleaning after easier - Aesthetically really nice and made me look like a real chef Cons: - Nothing major. The only minor comment was that given that the base is not very thick, while it heats up quickly, it cools down really quickly as well. It was a positive for me, but I can imagine some like to have the base stay hot longer (... but can lead to things sticking...). Compared to the other wok I have (which is also non stick and from another 1er brand), it performed better and will be my go to wok going forward.

I received my complimentary stainless steel wok as part of the Napoleon Product Testing team and I really enjoy cooking with it. The wok itself is very well-constructed with a flat bottom that allows it to sit nicely on any cooking surface–a definite plus. It's large enough to comfortably cook for 3-4 people. I was a little skeptical about the stainless being non-stick, but when preheated correctly, I haven't had any issues with sticking and cleanup has been a breeze. I've been able to obtain a perfect sear on shrimp, scallops and chicken. Overall, I'm very happy with my new wok and would recommend it to a friend.
