The last time I reviewed this product in 2025, when I made pancakes, it was great! But, I later found piece of paper inside the other half of the bag. That's because I didn't sift the entire bag. I only sifted out a bit to fill two or three mason jars for quick usage. But this new purchase, I sifted the entire bag before use. I found no paper and that's great, because I really like their products and this flour taste great, so I came back for more. I highly recommend sifting, but check the wheat that is left behind for anything you don't want in there like small husk etc. I only sift for safety and extra fluffiness when baking. I checked the wheat left behind in the sifter and just redistributed it back into the sifted flour, because I have no desire to lose all that good ancient grain! I only picked out smaller pieces of wheat that looked like strips or husk like shell of the wheat. I highly recommend, but remember to sift and check the wheat left in the sifter, then add the wheat back into the flour.
