Essenhaus Egg Noodles are an original recipe from the world-famous kitchen of Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury, Indiana. Das Dutchman Essenhaus has become the largest restaurant in Indiana. Essenhaus noodles are made the old-fashioned way and are the foundation of many authentic Amish stews and soups! We use the time-tested process of sheeting, cutting and drying just like our grandmothers have done for years. Unlike pasta from an extruder, Essenhaus noodles are hearty and full of rich delicious flavor. There is nothing that says "comfort" like Amish cooking, and nothing that says "Amish cooking" better than Essenhaus noodles.

Cooking: Bring 3 quarts of water (or broth) to a boil. Add 16 oz of noodles and return to a boil. Lower heat and simmer 13-18 minutes or until desired tenderness.
