Got this extra large dog bed for my sister. She got a rescue dog a couple weeks ago. An older dog. This is not big enough for a Great Dane but it is big enough for a dog about 70 lbs, like a lab or Collie. Many of these bed things are often too small for a larger mid sized dog. Not this one and it's very squishy, fluffy. She had a cheap couch blanket. One of those soft throw type things. She easily sewed it together for this to slide into it, like a pillow case. That way she can just remove it to wash it instead of throwing this big thing itself into the washing machine. You'd need a large capacity washing machine. Also, this really nice dog bed folds in half and has large snaps on the ends so you can fold it in half and snap it together to hold it in place folded up. That could be useful for storage or to use this thing another way for another purpose, maybe camping? The fabric is nice and soft, too. Her dog wouldn't go near it at first. After about an hour, it did and lays on it all the time now. Some dogs cannot climb onto sofas or beds, or are not allowed to. This is very nice and good quality.

Great price. I hate it when my dog's elbows develop thick skin from hard surfaces and this bed is perfect for preventing this. However, my 1 yr old medium-large dog is rambunctious %26 gets bored easily so he pulled some stuffing out shortly after I gave it to him. I think the material side could have been a more sturdy or thicker material choice but still soft. My solution, because I like the bed %26 I will prob buy another... is sewing a cover or buying one -with a zipper. For this effort its 4-star.
