The Rocky Mountain Signature Squids are high quality squid lures designed for trolling behind dodgers when targeting kokanee and lake trout. The Signature Squids, from Rocky Mountain Tackle, are hand-made using premium squid bodies, the highest grade 10 lb line and the highest quality red hooks to ensure a secure hook-up each and every time. The Signature Squids are most often employed using the Rocky Mountain Signature Dodger tied to the squid using a 10-12 lb fluorocarbon leader ranging in length from 8"-24". Currently, the trend with the squids and hoochies is to use a slighter shorter leader than had traditionally been the norm — as is the case with most techniques they consistently evolving and should be changed as the fish prefer. Rocky Mountain Signature Squids come in a wide spectrum of color options certain to meet even the most discerning Kokanee fisherman's tastes.
