This jacket is so soft and yet warm. it is heavier than I expected but that's what keeps me warm. It is like an extra layer. I wear size 5X and it fits great. A metal zipper to boot (try finding those on anything anymore on items for less than $100). Yes, I would recommend this item for anyone who wants an extra layer of warmth and comfort when outdoors.

Great fit! Nice and warm on those colder windy days. Looks good on my husband who I bought it for, he likes it better than his old one. I recommend it.
