SAMSUNG Galaxy A20 A205G, 32GB, GSM Unlocked Dual SIM – Deep Blue

I bought this phone in 2019 (mid) to replace a damaged one and really like the phone. It's not a ridiculously high priced phone and works really well for my needs. I don't even remember if I wrote an initial review for the phone but over the weekend (3/1/20), but decided I needed to write one after what happened this weekend. I was out and about and needed to use the rest room; because the phone is so slim I sometimes forget when I slip it in my back pocket (and the phone had a cover on it when this happened). Let's just say my phone fell in the toilet (yuck!) and thank goodness the water was clear and not murky. I quickly snatched the phone up and wiped it off as best I could, shook it a bit to see if any water came out and the phone appeared to be working fine for the next few hours. Later that evening, the phone starting getting all these crazy colorful lines and no pics. It still rang when I called it with another phone but the screen was blank. I was ready to take it to get it looked at on Monday (today), and was using an S4 backup when the phone popped back on, I could see all of my apps and everything was still there. I popped my old SIM card back in and I am happy to report that the phone is fully operational. I am totally shocked at this turn of event. I'm going to keep a close eye on it to see if it fritzes again, but if this phone continues to work I am absolutely IMPRESSED because all cell phone users know that once your phone hits water, and it's not waterproof or water-resistant, then chances are you're either spending money to fix it or spending money on a new one. I'm not sure if the phone cover had anything to do with it, but either way I'm impressed that this phone is still a fully functioning phone with no glitches as of today (3/2/2020) and for that I'm giving this review 5-starts.

Glad I decided to purchase this item. Meets all my expectations. Stopped at T-Mobil to have them install the sim card and they could not believe what I paid for this phone. It was almost $100.00 less than their price for the same phone. Easy setup and more than enough storage. Quick response and a lot of great feature, similar to what you would get from a higher priced phone. Completely satisfied with Samsung A20.
