Teva Terra Fi Lite Sandals, Brown

Started wearing Teva sandals 25 years ago in Hong Kong. The soles were tire tread: never wore out and never flexed. Got the Terra Fi Lite as one of the first sandals Teva said was vegan (used to think all synthetic sandals were vegan; not so; there is the glue). They were 'lite' all around: light soles, light straps. But grippy and comfortable (with Thorlo socks). When the soles wore out after 2+ years and many miles hiking, Teva only had Lite in women's, so I got the regular Terra Fi 4 (now listed as vegan). It was the first Teva to give me blisters, but I did break it in. Besides being a gravel collector, the soles split after 15 months and reduced hiking miles. Very happy the men's Lite has returned. It as good as the original. No blisters and not collecting gravel. Plenty of support, and sizing is spot on. For casual use and short urban hikes (2-3 miles), this is the best vegan footwear (and, I suspect, the best bar none).

I wore out my first pair, and am on my second now. I ordered a 3rd pair to have in reserve in case they're no longer being made when my 2nd pair wears out! Perfect fit. Great arch support and cushioning. I basically live in these all year around here in Tucson.
