We really like this coffeemaker! It brews in 4 mins, it's quiet and very easy to program. The lid is tight fitting, its held secure and not something you just lift up, it kinda snaps shut. That's neither pro nor con but dont expect just to quickly lift the lid with the side of your finger . We really like that you can set the hor plate for your needs and preferences; how hot you want the burner and the time you want it to stay on. We also like the 14 cup capacity- certainly you don't have to make that much but with company, its handy!
