I am finally trying my hand a cooking Korean Cuisine and couldn't find this in my local stores. It arrived quickly after I ordered online. This hot pepper paste is delicious. It has a pleasant umami and is hot but not too hot. I used this making a recipe for Cheese Budak (Fire Chicken).

Try it - you'll like it

I love Gochujang. This is the only brand I've had but I don't even want to try another brand because this is so good. Just a dollop in certain recipes makes ALL the difference. My advice is to try it - you'll like it - if you enjoy a flavorful, medium-hot ingredient. The trouble is that it's very hard to find in groceries. Paying $11 (includes shipping) is almost double of what I paid for it when I lived in another state whose groceries carried it.
