Bought this for my son when he was 8 months old and it fit him when the strap was adjusted to as tight as it will go (it's Velcro), and there was room to grow into. He is now 15 m.o. and it still fits. I might not consider this if your child is more than 2 years, but of course, each head is different. Also, good quality for the price.
