The entire thing looks like the photo. I thought the whole desk was made from wood, however, only the desktops are wood. The supporting structure is actually metal with a wood print on it. It is pretty heavy, but once I got it laid down, I was able to assemble it on my own. The instructions are simple and clear. Overall, I think I will get good use out of it for the next several years. And the price point was a steal!

This is a great desk for a smaller space. It came with some dents and chips on the corners but for the price I'll fix it myself. My husband but this together by himself fairly quickly. One thing that was not clear is that this desk does not come with any bins like in the pictures. It wasn't clear in the description if they were included or not.
