(4 pack) Great Value Shredded Chicken Breast with Rib Meat, 10 oz Can

Didn't know about this product. Was buying the regular (unshredded) chicken breast in a can to add to soups, salads, or other recipes. The regular canned chicken is chunky, so I sometimes have to put in a bowl to mash it with a fork to make finer pieces, like when mixing in with fried rice. Don't have to that with this shredded chicken. Will buy the regular canned chicken for most recipes, or when I just open a can to have as a snack, but the shredded variety is handy for non-wet recipes (i.e., other than soup or stew) to help mix into the other ingredients. You are definitely paying a higher price for the convenience of not having to do the shredding yourself. The shredded variety is 134% the price of the regular canned chicken. I will buy again, but only when preferred in a recipe. That is, I won't stock this, but buy when needed.
