Minute Instant Brown Rice, 100% Whole Grain Rice, Gluten Free, 28 oz

Tasted fine and good texture that seemed softer from regular bagged rice. Just throw cilantro, tofu, garlic powder, tumeric, mixed veggies, and other things in to it, but you probably do that already, don't you? Supposedly, this is one of the healthiest of quick cook brown rices. The better one, is supposedly Great Value itself. Rice is awesome, but I would like it if I could engourge myself again someday on some amazingly perfectly overglorified fried rice!, ... but alas, ... my stomach... it yearns for things of which it cannot have, unless I wish to cast it in to darkness with bloatings and pain. I hear you oh stomach! You don't want that anymore, so you must stick to plain... On another note... If you can tolerate things like EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil), adding some of that to the rice is definitely even more healthy. EVOO is healthier than regular olive oil as well. Also, add 1 or 2 Herb-Ox sodium free pouches or cubes to the water you start with for boiling/simmering the rice in. That will help with some flavor.

This rice takes a little longer than Minute Instant White Rice to prepare (10 minutes instead of 5), but it's still fast, and the brown rice is so much better. Better: for you, and better consistency and taste. It does not get mushy like the white rice, even after you store leftovers in the fridge.
