So far the cable works great for what I've been using it for. It's connected to a top set box which is upstairs in a server closet. The cable is routed through two walls (7.5M away) and hooked up to my tv. TV only supports 1080p so have not had a chance to test its 4K capabilities yes.

I already had newer (around 4 or more years old) Monoprice HDMI cables but not new enough! They would not pass all the new High Def.stuff from my 4K Ultra Blu-ray.I thought there was something wrong with the machine or the new PreProcessor.The picture and sound would come on the nothing then sound,then white screen and more or less! I thought, I needed something repaired.Called the prepro. manufacturer and a local high end audio store and they both suggested first try getting new HDMI cables before going to the repair shop.They were very correct! Because the Monoprice are so much more reasonably priced (compared to those other rip off companies) I replaced all of my old cables with the new Monoprice "Certified" HDMI cables.No More Problems!! Please consider this good advice.It may save you a lot of money and aggravation as it did for me. Good Luck.
