Novelty
This would definitely be a fun novelty item for some. It has a "promotional item" feel. Now, let's be clear- it is made of heavy cardstock. It is actually stitched, and very nicely. There are even vents placed in the sides to help with sweat and heat (which I assume is this hat's kryptonite) because who wants to wear a soggy hat. It is very sturdy and I guess if you don't want to invest in an actual cowboy hat, or just want a fun party hat- this will work great.

Heavy duty cardboard - looks...okay?
This hat is made of very heavy duty cardboard - it has an elastic/cloth headband on the inside so it'll fit multiple different head sizes. It kind of looks like they folded up a carton of the product and made a hat out of it. I'm not sure what occasion I'd wear this for - maybe on my deck with friends as a joke? Obviously this isn't a "serious" cowboy hat, but as a costume accessory - right on point.
