Ceramic Sto are Serving Plate - SABLO designed by Frederike Martens, a German industrial designer with emphasis on glass and ceramics is the perfect way to present your signature dish. The beautiful platter is beautiful enough for your holiday meals and casual enough for everyday use. Frederike designed the SABLO line taking inspiration from the natural materials of sand, clay and water. The shapes are soft and inviting with pleasantly rounded edges and a slightly rough surface in some areas and glazed in others. SABLO sto are is made from colored clay and a unique mix of quartz, minerals and oxide.

Sto are is defined as a group of ceramic products and is used to produce plates, dishes, cachepots and bowls, molded at very high temperatures using special casting techniques. The high temperature during the firing process ensure sto are is more stable than clay and less translucent than porcelain. The colors, shapes, appearance of the glaze as well as the overall look depend on the firing temperature and time and may vary slightly from piece to piece - each piece is unique and may show individual structures and shades. • Our -SABLO- tabletop range is made of sto are. In general Sto are is manufactured from clay, quartz or minerals such as calcite and is defined as a group of ceramics products. Sto are is used to produce plates, dish bowls, cachepots and bowls, moulded at very high temperatures (app 970°C to 1320° C (1778 F to 2408 F)) using casting techniques. The higher temperatures during the firing process make sto are more stable than clay and less translucent than porcelain.
• The colours depend a lot on the firing temperature and -time, therefore each piece can show individual structures and shades. As sto are is not watertight in itself, it often is glazed to achieve this state. It is stable and durable. This is also the case with our sto are range which makes it ideal for everyday use. Nevertheless, it can happen that sto are articles show a cutlery abrasion. This is not a defect of the product, but a completely natural process, as the glaze was fired at a lower heat than the ceramic underneath.;Use and maintenance; Our dinnerware is dishwasher safe and can be used in a microwave oven.
