Good shelf? Non-adjustable shelf heights

Easy to assemble and fits well in bedrooms. Decently sturdy and strong. Looks nice without costing a small fortune. My kid appreciates the space for his favorite books and treasures. Only real complaint is that the shelves are spaced 100% uniformly and cannot be moved or adjusted for height. This means that taller books must stay at angles, be placed sideways so the title/spine is not visible, or be stacked horizontally. (Personally, for aesthetic reasons, even on kids' bookshelves, I prefer to do that only with hardcover books that are have thicker %26 easy-to-read titles on the spines). As you will see in the picture, right now, several books are in danger of slipping sideways due to the shelf height limitations so I need to invest in extra bookends. Normally, particularly for kids' bookshelves, I prefer to keep some empty space between books for other uses such interspersed cubby toy bins. Short is: Great bookcase, but non-adjustable shelves.
