This works to strengthen my snagging nails.

I have used Spring Valley Extra Strength hair, Skin %26 Nails Collagen Support Soft gels on an off over the years. At age70, my hair is dull and thin and my nails are constantly snagging things. My skin is dry even though it's summer. So, I decided it was time to start using it again. I just wish it was 1 soft gel per dose and not 3! By the time I take my meds and other supplements, I'm swallowing many pills.

I've been using this 3 pills a day for 6 months and my nails are in the best shape of my life! It takes a few months of steady use to see the results because nails grow so slowly. But they were paper thin before. (Full disclosure: I also use Kur Get Well Nail Recovery as a base coat, which I buy on Amazon. It's $20, but it's worth it.)

My nails were brittle and breaking numerous times a week for months. Turns out some medications I take lower levels of biotin. I started taking this supplement and after just a few weeks my nails stopped breaking nearly as much, and now they barely do anymore. This supplement is also nice because it contains some other supplements that I have to take, so now instead of taking 4 different supplements I just have to take these. Yes, they smell TERRIBLE, but that is normal for a biotin supplement.
