Can't imagine doing taxes without it.

I tried the "other" software and I'm back for good. This software makes sure that we don't miss the latest changes in the tax law. It is logical and thorough. My wife has a small business and I am retired. We have investments, business income and expenses, a pension and of course SS. The Deluxe product has exactly what we need to navigate all the possible options in our tax laws.

Overall, I like the software

There were a couple of glitches. I have multiple 1099R forms to enter manually. The first form I entered would always take on the Box 1 value of the last form I entered. I fixed this by going back and editing the first form after all the other forms had been entered. Also, the link to the FinCen website did not work. I got a link did not exist error.

Best for easy returns.

I've been using this software for years, but each year experience the same frustrations. It frequently refers me to review a form and tells me to complete the form. NO - that's why I use software, so I complete an interview and the software completes the forms. Each time it refers me to a form it reminds me of the anxiety experienced when completing paper tax forms long ago. So, it's better than paper returns but stop requiring me to review and double check forms!!
