Love this greenhouse so much. I was skeptical with the low price, and granted the lid is thin and flimsy, but I've had sprouts within 3 days of planting my African daisies and bachelor button seeds. I don't see it working well outside due to the lightweight lid, but it works great indoors with a grow light. Definitely will purchase again!

Nice tiny greenhouse kit

Nice little seed starter kit. It is smaller than I thought but works well in my window. Will last me many springs with care. I like how the disks swell with water and the grow mix packet is included to fertilize.

Works well, great value, delicate plastic tray/lid

Tray is thin and flimsy but functional. Gets blown around easily by wind without enough weight in it. Peat pellets worked well. Some seedlings got some sort of mold or discoloration on them and died, another fell when the wind blew and died after being ripped apart from it's roots. Of the 6 Basil seeds I started in the tray, three made it to their first transplant and are now doing so healthy they need a bigger pot. The lid is also thin and kinda worryingly flimsy, but still in tact so far. Also got blown around really easily. It wasn't warm enough in my house compared to the Missouri spring into summer heat so I stuck the tray in my porch mini shed at first so it would be protected from sun/wind. Then opened the doors to it after I started to see growth. Then eventually put it on top of the shed to get full sun. I did, at times, bring it in when the storms and tornado warnings would come by, and supplemented their growth with time on a warming mat under LED sunlamp/growlamp indoors. If still using the tray outdoors, the rain will fill it up and you'll have to drain it or else drown your starts/pellets as there are no drainage points by design. I had to weigh my lid down until they grew too tall for the lid provided, but since the lid is so thin and delicate, it had to be something not too heavy or too small so I could spread it's weight evenly. I settled for a sturdy pair of garden shears. Great value and does the job for the price. But if longevity and quality is a concern, or you're rough with your items, I would not recommend it for you. It's not meant to be handled much and supports almost no weight at all. If you need to carry the tray around, put it on another, sturdier tray first, and be careful when transferring it. Worked really well for me on a severe money and space budget, and I have enough fertilizer and peat pellets to use it again and again on other kinds of seeds in the future. Since I am careful and delicate with my things, it will function for me for a long while provided nothing unforeseen happens. Even then, all the pieces this comes with are far more expensive to get delivered to me when purchased separately, so this was a cost effective and as-advertised bundle of a deal for me that did exactly what I needed it to, even if it isn't the best of the best.
