Cheaper than what I had been using
I have dry eyes and have to put ointment in my eyes at night. I had been using Muro 128 and Alcorn ointment, but it was $18-25. per tube. I found this at Wal-mart and decided to try it. And it works just as good as the other two brands for alot less money. I still use the others when my I'm having a bad day with my eyes, but this a good alternative to save money.

Perfect product for people and dogs
Actually, I use this product for my old dog, who has extreme dry eye. He is a Pug and has had two surgeries on his eyes. I was using a veterinarian product, but it was too thin and exited the holder far too fast, resulting in using too much product. It became very expensive and he will be using this for the rest of his life, so I started using people products (only good ones and only after checking with the Vet) and found this one to be the very best, physically and economically.

Works great for dry eye
I have extreme dry eye due to PRK surgery. This product has 80% Petroleum Jelly and 20% Mineral Oil that for me helps throughout the night and wake up with no eye pain. I have used other products with lower %'s but more Petroleum I get more comfort, this works the best for me. I do reapply though out the night as needed to comfort. Yes I do recommend this product to whomever has extreme dry eye.
