DHP Parsons Counter Height Bar Stool

Most will use these stools with a bistro table or at a bar. I found them to be the perfect height and comfort level for the computer as well. While I usually use a regular roll around desk chair I started to use the stools when my wife and I are sharing the desktop for a project. They were the ideal height for my home office set-up and cozy enough to work with a partner. I found the linen like covering to be airy, comfortable and ideal for long computer sessions. The wood is nicely finished and easy to clean, a close match to some teak cabinets we already own. The stools even include adjusters to level the stools if needed. The included assembly instructions were clear and concise. Overall I would recommend these stools for anyone looking for extra seating that can go from the home bar to the kitchen or home office.

Was it my birthday or Christmas? No it was my delivery of Dorel Living Parsons Counter Stools in taupe. Even my husband got excited as the barstools currently in use at my house are backless and he immediately took to the shed to put them together. An hour later he proudly presented the finished product. They were lovely in a muted tone of taupe with a true linen texture so as a precaution I did a preventive spray of scotch guard due to grandchildren who belly up to the bar to snack. The height was perfect at 36 inches tall and the seat was 24 inches so I could comfortably sit with my heels on the footrest. They weigh about 15 pounds each with a weight limit of 250 each. They have a depth of 21.5 inches so they snugged right up to the island. The backs and the seats are padded and upholstered so they are comfortable enough to offer as additional seating when necessary. They have a classic look with clean lines in a variety of colors that blend well in any decor.
