We switched from a loft bed to this trundle daybed for our 6 year old. It was very easy to assemble and had clear instructions. This bed has an unattached trundle on wheels that slides under the daybed. It's nice and light and easy to move. My 6 year old can even slide it around when needed! Although it's light, it's sturdy. The trundle underneath functions easy and has locks on the wheels for safety.
