Home Essence Belden Window Panel

I ordered two of these curtain panels in June of 2015. They were hung up in July and by about 4 months later they were looking very faded. They do hang on a window that faces the west and receives a great deal of sun in the afternoon and evening. The color was more of a tan than a grey to begin with, but now they look especially brown. I called today to ask for a refund and was told that they could not issue one because the product does not have a warranty and they have no assurance that I have taken proper care of the curtains. Please take this into consideration before you buy the curtains. I have read other similar reviews about this same product. I will also add that they are a very sheer curtain, and do not block much light or provide much privacy.
