Easy to assemble. Nice sturdy solid wood. Wish they were already finished with different color options. I also miss calculated the height and ordered mine which are too tall!

I would give this stool a 4-5 rating for the quality and sturdiness, but the assembly was a nightmare. I consider myself a very handy lady (repaired leaking roofs, plumbing, tile, etc). But the attaching of the seat to the base was next to impossible and the instructions were limited at best!!! I had to position a screwdriver between the seat and the base so that the swivle would reveal the hole to screw them together. They turned out nice after chalk painting but this is not a job for everyone.
