Please note that print and dye imperfections are not to be considered defects but rather primitive characteristics associated to the art of hand block printing. Made of 100% cotton and measures approximately 60 x 60 inches. They are color fast and can be machine washed separately on cool/gentle and tumble dried. Hand block printing on textiles refers to the technique by which carved wooden blocks dipped in dye are hand pressed along a length of cloth to create a repeated pattern. It is the oldest and slowest form of textile printing known to man. The block print designs created centuries ago remain ever popular through out many cultures around the world today.
