Manduka PROlite Yoga Mat 71" 4.7mm

Great price. Excellent non-toxic yoga mat.

I just used this mat for the first time after following the salt break in per Manduka. I did two classes back to back. One was yin one was a level 1-2 flow. The bad: During the flow class it was horribly slippery. It has a closed cell design so perspiration will never absorb into the mat. I don't usually sweat much but this was terrible. My wrists and between my fingers are so sore today from trying to hold myself in place. The good: It is a nice durable mat that will last forever (I hope). The weight of the mat is heavy but not too heavy. I no longer need to use a blanket under my knees like I had to with my Gaiam mat I had been using for the past 11 years. I'm going to continue to scrub it daily after practice and hopefully the slip will go away. I have read reviews where people still have trouble a year later. I'm not giving up hope though!
