I have been a user of “Rotel” forever. That brand name is just pinned to the type of product this is regardless of it being another brand. This may as well be the other brand because I don't taste a difference. The product is so versatile and I utilize them often.

I always keep a couple of cans of Great Value Original Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies on hand. I use 1/2 a can to a full can in so many of the dishes I cook. It can really liven up a pot of stew or give spaghetti sauce a little zing not to mention just the right amount of kick to your homemade chili. It will always be a staple in my household! 😀

Perfect for adding some heat acidity of tomato

These are awesome. Bold and flavorful. They have some heat to them. I would say the heat level (not the flavor) is about equal with a typical Louisiana style hot sauce. Not enough to overwhelm, but enough to be noticed. I was really liked the dice size of the tomatoes. A bit smaller than most diced tomatoes, but larger than petite diced. They are about mid way, which I think are perfect for a bold splash of flavor while still having pieces to spread out some. I think they're perfect for adding some heat with the acidity of the tomato. I real win in my opinion.
