It uses 16 AWG stranded, pure copper conductors and employs copper braid shielding with 97.5 percent coverage to ensure that stray radio frequency and electromagnetic signals do not degrade the audio quality of your performance. The plugs are gold plated to provide smooth, corrosion-free connections as well as maximum electrical conductivity.With two separate conductors and the common shield ground, this cable can be used as an unbalanced stereo patch cable or as a balanced mono patch cable.Note that this cable is intended for general audio use. For high-end, low-noise performance and recording use we recommend our Cloth Series cables, PIDs 601410, 601415, and 601420.

Great cable
This is a great cable, very substantial but still flexible. I needed a stereo cable for my K&K acoustic guitar pickup, and it had to be a right angle because I need to put the guitar on a stand. It's reasonably priced too. I would absolutely buy this again.

Excellent --- But beware of directional arrows
GREAT cables (have 15'). Solid build. Pure sound. But..., at a gig last night I hooked up the TRS male to my snake return from mixer, and as usual, the other end into my powered stage monitor speaker. "NOTHING." No sound. What? Panic! Then we noticed the directional arrows on the cable. The arrows were heading OUT of the power-speaker to the return on the snake. and up to the mixer. Driving the wrong way on a one-way street? We switched direction of the cable now making directional sense: mixer to snake to monitor -- and all was perfect. Bliss. No panic.

Rock solid cable
Almost forgot I had this stashed away [Monoprice is good for stocking up] and replaced my regular 6 ft. cloth cord with it. Solid construction, at least it feels really substantial, solid fit on the cables and the L-angle are a must going forward. Never go back to straight cables.
