Highly recommend these shoes! I live in the PNW and these shoes are perfect for walking my dog in the rain or wet trails. I have tested these shoes in a puddle and they rally are waterproof. The thing to tighten then is kind of hard to move, but I just slip these on and off and don't mess with it anymore. THe shoes run slightly big but its because they're sort of boxy, which doesn't both me becuase I usually wear thicker hiking socks so they fit comfortably.
