This item states European sizes. I picked a size bigger and glad I did. There are several rows of hooks so you can select your size that fits you best. If the shoulder straps are adjusted to not fall off your shoulders then (I found) they rub on my skin. I may be cutting off the shoulder straps. I found this wasn't smooth in the back. I will only wear under a looser fitting shirt.
