My 1 yr old loves it.
My 1 year old does great with this cup. She can't flip it open herself but she likes it better than a sippy cup with a spout she will drink and drink.

My almost 3 year old has struggled with straw sippy cups. Use to only do well the the take and toss non spill proof cups. She loves these! We have 3 for now, will purchase more! BTW This cup is spill proof when straw is closed!
