McCormick Gourmet Organic Oregano Leaves, 0.5 oz Bottle

I received the Gourmet Collection Organic Oregano from McCormick, as part of a BzzAgent sampling campaign, in exchange for my honest review. As an oregano-obsessed Italian who is a longtime fan of McCormick brand spices, I was excited try their Gourmet Collection Organic Oregano. We make homemade pizza weekly in our house and oregano is a staple. This McCormick Organic Oregano is vibrant and aromatic straight out of the pretty, glass jar. The flavor is bold and earthy. Just a pinch instantly elevates our homemade pizza and ties all the toppings together. It also adds to the overall presentation. That beautiful, green sprinkle over bubbling mozzarella makes my pizza look straight out of a pizzeria. This McCormick Gourmet Collection Organic Oregano a quality oregano that will be replacing my current go-to oregano. It is fresh, fragrant and authentic, which is exactly what I want in my kitchen. I will be purchasing again and recommend.

With grocery store spices, it's sometimes hard to find something. That doesn't taste stale or old. This McCormick Organic Oregeno beats the completion by offering what tastes like a freshly dried herb that doesn't have any of the bitterness or mustyness that is apparent in other brands at the store. The oregano is bright and punch, has a vibrant scent, and due to it not tasting old, a little goes a long way. I use this in making some pizza sauce over the weekend and it was superb. I'm a fan now and will look into other McCormick Gourmet line of spices and herbs.
