From the outside it looks pink. This is as red as red comes. It's a beautiful color BUT doesn't match with what I'm trying to do. If you love red you will love this. So with that being said I would recommend it

This is the ONLY brand I use. Coverage is superb. Rich and creamy. The color oatmeal is a bit deceiving by name. Yes it is a beige khaki color but has very obvious green tones. i just did an ugly white dining room set with a light oak top and matching hutch. Oatmeal chalk and wood trim pieces turned the outdated ugly duckling set to modern and tasteful.
