we were looking for a recliner. the chair we had was 6 yrs old and getting old. difficult to sit in with the back getting sore. we saw this chair simple not all that flash of the high tech stuff. we fell in love that we were going to replace another chair later. but since the sale representee was able to get us a great deal and discount. we decide to get 2 recliners instead. we just love them. we highly recommend them. we have been shopping here for 6 yrs now since we have moved to Redding. that i why we returned for more. we are satisfied

I really love them. I bought two for my living room. They are a bit firmer than I expected but they are comfortable. They are manual so you do need some arm and leg strength to put them back in the upright position. I like that because the one I had before was too loose in that area. I am 68 years old so sometimes I have a little trouble with getting it closed but it's not a big deal for me. I would not recommend it for someone who has a lot of weakness in their arms and legs. Also, as I said, it is a firm chair so if you're looking for something soft and cushiony, this is not the chair for you. I've only had my chairs for about a week so they could soften up but I hope not. I do have a lot of back pain and the firmness of this chair really helps with that. If my opinion changes I will update my review, but I don't believe it will! I might add that we went to 4 different stores (including Ashley's ) and then ordered these online. They were a great deal and honestly our first choice when comparing our options. I would include a photo but I'm in the middle of redoing the living room and these chairs were my first change. I may add a couple photos when I'm finished.
