It is light and exactly as described. I didn't give 5 stars because the non stick Teflon coating began flaking off after exactly three logs split. It's not a cooking pan so no big deal. The edge isn't as sharp as I would like but since the non stick coating is coming off, I will take a file to it for an edge. It works really well and is exactly what I needed.

Small Husqvarna splitting axe
The axe is well made and will serve well as a small "wedge banger" but fails as a splitting axe. The "cheeks" on this axe does not allow the tool to move through or split the wood. It simply bounces back out. Perhaps a heavier tool with a longer handle would work better.
